We emphasize the need for pupils to develop a broad range of skills, competencies and values that enable personal well being, active citizenship and lifelong learning. Learning experiences for all pupils are broad, balanced and challenging.

Granlahan National School celebrates the uniqueness of the child as it is expressed in each child's personality, intelligence and potential for development. Our vision is to nurture the child in all dimensions of his or her life -  spiritual, moral, cognitive, emotional, imaginative, aesthetic, social and physical.

Ethos:

Our teachers aim at promoting the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person of the pupil:  intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people.

In partnership with our parish community we provide religious education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church and promote the formation of the pupils in the Catholic faith
